NASA: Psyche Mission
2025NASA's Psyche mission is humanity's first journey to a metal-rich asteroid — studying the origins of rocky planets by exploring what may be a remnant planetary core traveling between Mars and Jupiter.
- Built a scroll-driven 3D web experience visualizing NASA's Psyche asteroid mission using React and Three.js; personally developed the autoscroll system, an informational footer, distance scaling for scientifically accurate spatial representation, and the 3D Psyche asteroid model.
- Contributed to a configurable camera spline system with viewport-height-based timing, model motion animations (spin, orbit, path, visibility), and trajectory rendering across circular, elliptical, and spline paths; deployed on GitHub Pages for NASA MIEA distribution.
- Collaborated cross-functionally with graphic-design capstone students to translate Psyche science into interactive 3D visuals, applying accessibility standards and component-based architecture to ensure team-wide maintainability.
